Urgh yeah I hate that too, my sister and brother in law forever keep going on about it now because I mentioned that I would like to veto the pictures they put up of me on Facebook for all to see

I had to threaten a friend with contacting Facebook before they would take them down. This was like 10 years ago, but it still annoys me to this day.

Actually, I think they just untagged me instead. They are probably still up.

"- Clarifies that the interviewer is not wrong, but she has never been asked about it before so doesn't know what to say."

You should have said this and shut up.

Wow...
How can she possibly think that there is "little difference" between her experience as a white, female, middle class person and John Boyega's experience as a black, male, working class (I assume, reading the excerpt above) person???
Oh add the immigration background as well, i mean jeez seriously Daisy Ridley?

Start thinking about it girl and put out your own statement once you’ve got something to say.

i'm more mad that she tried to say her background experience with boarding school and generational wealth and connections were "similar" to john's background of being a black son of immigrants growing up on a council estate. like even if she's never been asked or thought about it, just saying that out loud should have sounded dumb to her.
