the only things I remember about Crash are the noises Sandra Bullock made when she fell down the steps and that Bird York song on the soundtrack

The only thing I like about Crash (2004) is the idea of people getting it mixed up with the other Crash (1996) which is a Cronenberg movie about car crash fetishes and wound fucking. Like someone gets ready to watch super Oscar bait and ends up watching Rosanna Arquette get fucked by James Spader in a scarred wound on the back of her leg. SWITCHAROO

Yeah....I probably would have switched them at Blockbuster for some unsuspecting soccer mom to find along with Jack Frost (which I did do).

Bird York is great and it took me way too long to put together that she's Kathleen York, an actress I loved on The West Wing. I'm always so impressed when someone can actually act and sing and one isn't a clear vanity project.
