It's been 4 years since Scott Weiland's passing; STP to release a new album and go on tour

It's been four years since Scott Weiland died from a drug overdose before his band could play at the Medina Entertainment Center in Medina, Minnesota. Today Stone Temple Pilots tweeted a tribute to him, with lyrics from their song "Still Remains." It just so happens that STP will be releasing new music and going on tour next year.

-Stone Temple Pilots will be releasing a new album called Perdida in February, which is Spanish for "loss"
-They've released a single called "Fare Thee Well"
-One song called "I Didn’t Know the Time" will honour Scott Weiland and Chester Bennington
-Current lead singer Jeff Gutt didn't know Scott, but had known Chester since 2000
-Tour dates can be found at Source 2 - it will be an intimate/acoustic tour
