I am so annoyed that actresses lose roles after the age of 35. I would like to see stories spanning our entire lives since we live longer than men and are far more interesting. And I am still annoyed Cameron Diaz retired because she wasn’t getting roles at the age of 40. Wtf? She’s still in her prime!

I didn't realize that's why she retired. Damn

I don't think it is? She's said before she just wanted to a break.

It’s so annoying when you see leading men in their 50s and the actresses playing their wives are 25

I honestly don't blame her for retiring. She made a lot of money (42 mil for Bad Teacher alone because she took a cut of the box office) and funny movies for a long time, why shouldn't she rest on her laurels and enjoy her life? Plus the entertainment industry is notoriously cruel to woman as they age (no matter what they do), so staying out of the spotlight is probably better for her mental health.

I miss actresses like Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes, both of whom have "retired." They're not the greatest actresses but they are fun and have more screen presence than the younger actresses out there now.
