But will Nicole let the other girls sing on “React” or any of the new songs? I feel like with today’s climate and social media they’ll get some backlash if not. Especially towards Nicole.

Justice for Melody!

That was what I was wondering! They may not care and may be doing this reunion to get those checks. I would hope they get to sing and contribute, too, if they are releasing more tracks!

Melody may have made a wise decision to not reunite. She mentioned that she sought therapy because of her experience and didn't like being called the dancer when she really signed up to sing for the group, too. She mentioned it made her lose her own confidence and security. I think she's in a good place, and I get her not wanting to join. She seems to have her own dignity and pride, so I gotta give it to her. I do think that they are all close friends, but no one gets along with Nicole. That's what I think.

I got really interested in what became of Edens Crush and when I found them on IG I saw that all of the women from the group still follow each other/keep in touch sans Nicole. I actually like Nicole as a performer, but she definitely seems like the type to burn bridges with people who can’t get her somewhere professionally and has tried to social climb all her life even when it’s clear she’s been out of chances.

Nicole is the reason EC broke up so it’s not surprising they don’t keep in touch with her.

Nicole is an asshole and everyone in the industry knows it.

Can you elaborate? I thought they broke up because their record company went bankrupt and they weren’t picked up anywhere else

London-Sire did fold but the artists signed to it were dispersed to its parent label Warner Music.

Anyways, Rosanna has a hosting gig on Ryan Seacrest’s talk show back in the early 2000’s when PCD was formed. One of the news blurbs Ryan reported on was the group forming and Nicole leading the group. He asked Rosanna if she kept in touch with Nicole and all she said was “not since she broke up our group.”

I wish the clip was still on YT because it was shady lol

Omg wow. It’s funny you say that because I vaguely remember wiki’ing Nicole’s page back in 2007-2008 and under the History section where it talks about her being in Edens Crush, I thought I remembered there being a quote by her saying how miserable she was in that group, that she didn’t get along with the other girls and that may or may not have been due to jealously, or something to that effect. I honestly don’t remember too well and wonder if I imagined it because it’s nowhere on her page now and I can’t see a trace of anything that pertained to that quote by her on the internet, but I thought I remember seeing something said by her that gave me impression that she had burned bridges with them.

Yeah, that's why they tried to have each girl release their own solo track, which sucks because they were only released on the deluxe edition. I think they did that because fans complained about them not having their own voices heard as much. They did get to perform their solo tracks, but they were snippets during their tour.

You know Doll Domination is the majority of Nicole’s scrapped solo album though right? The label was trying to save money and reused those songs. That’s why some of the songs still leave in the parts where the producer yells “NICOLE!” 😂
