I was listening to a podcast and they were advertising Knives Out and for the first time I realized that Rian Johnson is just another way of spelling Ryan. In my head I kept saying it "Ree-anne".

It's a pretty common name in Australia (my part at least). I remember when the first Queer Eye series was on and being super surprised the Jai on that show pronounced it "Jay".

yeah when i saw the movie last week there was a clip of him introducing it and i was like 'oohhhhhhhhh it's like ryan'. i was calling him ree-anne before that too lmao

actually i take it back. ever since star wars i've been calling him ruin johnson
