I'm from Long Island, and we went to the Macy's Parade a bunch of times when I was a kid. It was a miserable experience haha. Cold, crowded, could barely see anything. I think the only people who genuinely enjoy it are the Macy's executives families who get to sit in the bleachers directly in front of the store.

I live on the UWS and have never been tempted to go to the parade. Why sit out at 4 am in the freezing cold when I can watch it on TV on my comfy couch in my warm apartment?? haha
