Why the hell is Toni Braxton lip synching her "biggest" hit?

yes! a lot of "live" performances were dubbed so there'd be no mess-ups on air

Who care? It ain’t like Toni can’t sing. She’s more than earned the right to lip it for an awards show or two, and has more than proven she’s got That Voice.

Unbreak my Heart is that jam
I can’t help but start shout singing to whenever it comes on. I just feel that “say you’ll love me again” in my soul and have since I was 12.

This was such a weird arrangement and it sounded like words were constantly being cut off. I was disappointed. Also, this is my least favorite Toni song. She shoulda done a medley, lip synced or not

She looked just fine and live to me. I don't get it.

More like dubbed over. You don't sound like that when lipsynching. Plus, the way she hit and sustained that high note at the end is very 'live' Toni.

I think it's just shocking for some younger people right now to see performances that are actually stunning and perfect as they're jaded with the talentless hacks that have been American pop music in the 2010s. Their bar is so low that anything slightly higher than that is accused of lipsynching. Usually happens if you stan mediocrity.
