I made really fucking delicious apple stuffing for Friendsgiving. Stuffing is my fave.

My girl brought a salted-caramel chocolate pie that was to-die-for.

Great food all the way around.

melt two sticks of butter and stir in about 1.5-2 stalks of celery and 2 yellow onions, with 2 tablespoons fresh sage, rosemary and thyme. Add salt and pepper- I don’t know how much, I just put a layer over the mix. I let that simmer for like 30 minutes while I tear up two loafs of fresh sweet French bread. Then I cube up 2 Fuji apples. I put the apples and 4 cups (2 cans) of chicken broth into the buttery-veggie-spice goodness. I let that simmer for about 45 min. Then I mix in the French bread chunks, turn off the heat, mix it up so the French bread is all wet, and then cover it and let it sit for at least 2 hours or until I’m ready to bake it. I don’t put it in my turkey cause we cooked it in a bag (like some kind of amazing moist maker type thing), so I just bake it at 375 for about 20-30 minutes so the outside is crunchy.
