ONTD Original: 7 Random Celebrity Music Video Appearances You May Have Forgotten About

Nov 24, 2019 19:19

Yes, yes - we all know that Courtney Cox was in a Bruce Springsteen music video pre-Friends, that Tom Hanks was in Carly Rae Jepsen's "I Really Like You", and that Christopher Walken has one of the most well known celebrity music video roles of all time with his appearance in Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice".

But do you remember which guitarist Kim Kardashian made out with in a 2007 music video? Or which '90s music video features Hugh Laurie? Let's explore some of the more forgotten about celebrity music video appearances:

1. Keanu Reeves in Paula Abdul's "Rush Rush" (1991)

Keanu and Paula both star in this 1991 reimagining of the classic James Dean film Rebel Without a Cause.

2. Kim Kardashian in Fallout Boy's "Thnks fr th Mmrs" (2007)

Watch Kim make out with Pete Wentz just a year before he officially became Mr. Ashlee Simpson! She is credited on IMDB for her role as "woman". Kim first appears at the 2:44 mark and makes out with Pete at the 3:17 mark. This video came out the same year as her sex tape and is some peak 2007 nonsense.

Bonus Kim Kardashian Kontent:
She also appeared in the background of Christina Milian's 2004 hit, "Dip It Low":
*you'll have to click on the photos to see her - she's very insignificant.

3. John Malkovich and Hugh Laurie in Annie Lennox's "Walking On Broken Glass" (1992)

An excellent video for an excellent song. Watch as Annie Lennox lusts after her newly married ex, played by Malkovich, as the confused and embarrassed Hugh Laurie tries to keep up appearances.

4. Chris Evans and Jaime Pressly in Marilyn Manson's "Tainted Love" (2001)

This promo video for "Not Another Teen Movie" heavily features Pressly thirsting for Manson (vom) and briefly features Chris Evans in the opening scenes. Because OP is a trustworthy and benevolent OP, I wouldn't subject any of you to having to look at Manson's fugly mug. Chris Evans appears at the very beginning of the video up until 0:13. Then he's back at 0:37-0:39 then again at 0:41-0:42. He appears a few more times but it's too risky to look as he appears in frame with Manson (Manson pushes him out of the way). What a weird time in pop culture.

5. Mandy Moore in Good Charlotte's "Little Things" (2000)

Post-Candy, Pre-A Walk to Remember. Mandy first appears at 0:52.

6. Milo Ventimiglia in Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" (2007)

Just for an added layer of pop culture context, this video is also Post-Fergie Pissing Herself On Stage.

7. Ryan Phillippe in Outkast's "Hey Ya!" (2003)

One of the biggest hits of the 2010s (if not the biggest!?), a lot of people don't even realize that Ryan Phillippe is in this video. He first appears at the 0:41 second mark, doing a horrible English accent, as a television presenter.
