Thrillist interviewed The Good Place's Manny Jacinto, and here are some of the highlights:
- Jacinto mentioned in this interview that he and his castmates admired Ted Danson for taking action by joining Jane Fonda on Capitol Hill. The interviewer found out yesterday that Jacinto will be joining her tomorrow.
- He's Canadian, and has a degree in civil engineering. He also has a background in dance, which has been put to use on the show.
- He took inspiration from Parks & Rec's Andy Dwyer and Joey from Friends to play Jason.
- Favorite Jason line: "If you're a devil how come you're not wearing Prada?"
- Thinks that the character of Jason has given the audience a different way to look Asian men via his humor and energy, and aspires to be a leading man one day.
