Not that I don’t disagree but when you have a country with only two parties, the far left are never going to vote for a Republican, and generally aren’t the type to not vote either :/
But one side is always asked to swallow their ideals and vote with the left of center or else.
When will the time come when people say "either you go be a republican or start voting for truly democratic ideas"
edit: Obama's bullshit was clearly a thinly veiled "vote for my bro joe" line. But when you got a guy saying weed is a gateway to shooting up heroin in 2019...that ain't the answer.
But the Republicans do not have morals or ethics.... the left do because we’re generally good people lol, it’s hard NOT to swallow our side when the other side isn’t playing fairly. I don’t know what the right answer is but it’s unrealistic to act as if « the internal war » in the Democratic Party isn’t hurting us
I’m Canadian, so we do have a multi-party system and I vote for the far left/‘socialist’ party (NDP), but due to our current electoral systemic, the left is always splitting between 2-3 parties while true right has one main party, which has allowed them to gain power in the provinces, and close to winning the federal election.
I don’t know.... I guess I can certainly understand and even empathize why people are just focused on getting Trump out by trying to get as much people as possible, including Republicans
idk, I think Obamba is lowkey embarrassed about Biden. He keeps having people leak that he tried to convince Biden not to run, and then kinda threw shade at him later on in that speech.
