John Mayer promotes Taylor & Shawn's single; Hand Hugs Shawn Mendes
John Mayer broadcast a new episode of "Current Mood" on his Instagram Story. Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello stopped by to discuss their thumbs, how difficult it is to talk to 28,000 viewers, and give hand hugs.
Some of highlights included:
- John held up a tiny picture of Taylor Swift & Shawn Mendes' remix of "Lover." He said he printed it off of Spotify, and then held up another small picture and said that was the vinyl.
- John said he loves the single "Lover" but gets a little chuckle when she says "We can keep the Christmas lights up until January." He said, "You're insane. Everyone keeps their Christmas lights up until January. Can you really?" He then sings his own rendition of the lyric, joking that he will pack the lights up on January 5th, then take the lights back out in December and ended with "Well, that's a crazy love there, I tell you."

- Powerade bottles are difficult to open
