This just reminds me of how I'm still not over the worst episode of B99 aka Casecation. So much for a nice, well written childfree couple on a show I like.

That said, congrats to Melissa, she was the one who looked the happiest when they announced the season 8 renewal, it was cute.

Amy and Jake discussed children before. It was always hinted that Jake wanted kids. I don't know where people got the idea that they were gonna be "childfree" forever.
The episode was terrible tho. For him to randomly say "no children" and Amy to threaten divorce (as if it wasn't something she, the most organized person ever, wouldn't have discussed BEFORE marrying someone) was OOC and it didn't follow the show's continuity at all.

I didn't think they were going to be forever childfree though, I just didn't expect the show to bring that idiotic, unnecessary storyline so soon.

Thank fuck for Holt/Kevin, those two are literal goals <3

Yeah, I'd assume she would have had multiple binders detailing how she'd raise hypothetical children in different scenarios.

I feel like the show was trying to make the case with Amy that she didn't have much time left to have her own biological children and it was why she was talking divorce but it was so poorly written and so out of character.
