Shining sequel 'Doctor Sleep' kicked off this weekend's box office with $1.5 Million from Thursday night previews in the U.S./Canada. The horror/thriller starring Ewan McGregor is anticipated to make between $25 million to $30

I can't wait to see this! I didn't really like the book the first time around, but I reread it last month and liked it more. I might be able to see it Sunday but if not I'll have to do $5 ticket Tuesdays at good ol' Emagine.

Right? And you can really tell it was all women behind the camera. There was a lot more nuance to the story and characters than I was expecting, and I had high expectations.

I really liked this movie but it kinda dragged in the middle. My experience at the pre screening was terrible though. This Boomer couple next to my friend kept talking. Then, the woman takes out her phone at full brightness to text. My friend tells her it's bothering us and she says 'mind your own ducking business, I have kids.' There's no way her kids are under 20 lol. They say my generation is entitled.
