White women (and I'm in that basic category) in red/purple states are going to re-elect Trump. It's going to be as infuriating as last time.
NYT today: Elysha Savarese, 26, works in victims advocacy in Florida. She voted for Mr. Trump and said she would not do so again.
But she wouldn’t vote for Ms. Warren, either.
“There’s just something about her that I just don’t like,” she said. “I just don’t feel like she’s a genuine candidate. I find her body language to be very off-putting. She’s very cold. She’s basically a Hillary Clinton clone.”
As for female presidential candidates in general, she said, “They’re super unlikable.”
Women don't have to be warm and bubbly, and frankly I judge anyone who thinks that's the only "likable" personality type. Warren doesn't seem that way to me anyway.
I've been to two Warren events and, honestly, I don't know what else she'd have to do to try to be more "likable." I suspect she's intentionally high energy and she takes all the damn selfies. The times I've met her, she seems nice. And I can't say that for every candidate I've met. But I agree with you, I don't think women should have to be warm and bubbly to be viable. It's not my defining characteristic in what I'm looking for in a candidate. As long as someone isn't a giant asshole - like Trump.

I'm always skeptical about NYT canvassing voters. They've been caught red-handed on multiple occasions claiming to speak with independent voters when - in fact - they were talking to T45 supporters, and the same ones. Idk if that's the case here, but I don't trust their anecdotal commentary when it comes to politics. They've been trash since 2016 if not before, in that particular genre.
I can understand your skepticism, but women like the one quoted exist. And there are a lot more of them than I, or many people here, would prefer. I grew up in that kind of place. I've heard Michelle Obama referred to as a "clunky ape" by a woman in my hometown. The things sexist bull shit I've heard about Hillary, particularly that it's her fault Bill cheated. Politics aside, the self loathing and women hating themselves thing is real in rural, red/purple states.

Of course TRE45ON says all the polls are fake and only he has the real polls (this clown, good grief)
Here are some noteworthy poll items beyond the main headlines
The frontrunners are still the frontrunners so I’m not going to include most of that
Poll says poll stuff [Spoiler (click to open)] Very detailed Fox poll Oct 27-30 and if Fox says this then yikes
. T45 disapproval is mostly in the strongly disapprove column e.g. there is hardly any middle ground ( ... )
