personally, though, i'm reluctant to make the first move. not because i wouldn't want to, but because i feel like it's so socially ingrained for men to make the first move, that they will if they truly like you...if that makes sense?
yeah i get it, there have been times where i’ve done the first move and it’s sf chaotic lol. and i get it, i feel like if a guy does the first move, it’s bc he truly likes you. sometimes i’m like “well he followed my lead bc he knows i’m into him, there’s nothing to lose for him”
It truly depends on the guy tbh. Any guy who has no problem hitting up women will likely have no issue, but there are plenty of shy or insecure guys who, just like a lot of women, don't really dare to make the first move
Met on New Year's Eve at a ~club. She stepped in front of him and was like, 'why havent you said hello yet? im leaving tomorrow you'll never see me again, what are you gonna do about it????' and he was like '....... O.O'
