Why does everyone hate Yang on here? I went to his website to read about his 76 policies and I agreed with most of them. I get his approach is very tech bro ish but a lot of stuff he said in the debate made sense.

His UBI plan will require relocation as well, because there are a ton of places that you cannot live on 1,000 a month. IDK how anyone thinks that's a realistic plan for losing jobs to automation, it really only benefits people who are actually employed.

yeah it's clearly meant to supplement a part-time job, which is... fine, I guess, but let's not pretend anyone is going to be actually able to live on it

Yea I mean, part time jobs usually pay minimum wage or like, 10 bucks an hour, even with the extra 1,000 a month that’s not even close to enough to live on in a ton of areas.

His UBI plan is supposed to replace other entitlement programs like food stamps and welfare, which is not sustainable. Ultimately poor families would suffer even more under his version of UBI.
