The ‘80s aesthetic has been cool so I’m not mad at it. It’s obviously not as good as some of the earlier seasons, but way better than Cult, Apocalypse, Roanoak etc..

My friend got me to watch the first few eps of Cult with her and it was so awful??? Like genuinely not even "so bad it's good" level??? It felt like a really bad low budget webshow or something lol and weirdly... Trump-y and edge lordy idk I got horrible vibes off it.

The series was renewed for a season 9 and 10 during season 8. The show still has a bigger presence on Twitter + does well when factoring in Live + 7 numbers.

Ryan Murphy had two ideas in mind for season 10, and finally settled on one. There will be a hint for it within episode 8.

Is this season decent? I gave up after cringefest Coven lol. My friend often puts it on when I go to her house because she's obsessed with it but the last few seasons looked.... not.... great....

It's a fun season and so far they've been able to stay on track. Usually by now Ryan Murphy would've added 10 different subplots but overall it's been consistent.

Ryan Murphy recently mentioned how 1984 is shot in a way that makes binge-watching the season optimal... unfortunately, the season airs weekly on FX, though.

I think if you go in with low expectations and just allow yourself to have fun with it then you'll enjoy it. If you go in and expect some quality work then...it's not for you lol
