He just might. yeah he'd have the two time loser thing basically to deal with in texas of all places. which as you know politically it just has it's own topiary. some places just do. but strategically, it might be his best bet if he wants a career in politics, let alone does have aspirations of that office. you've got biden and clinton both as examples of either not being right for that job, or it not being the right time, and resorting back to state politics to regroup and stay in the game. ted kennedy ran for president and went back to being a senator. plenty of had to step back to state politics.

the presidential loss here doesn't have to end things. if he's ruled out the senate, unless he's really getting out of politics, maybe he's on someone's short list for VP or a high cabinet job. you've had people campaign their asses off because they're told they'll get secretary of some bullshit.

i'm curious if he's out, out.

He's done in Texas after he took a hard stance on gun control.

he should have run for senate. he truly bought into his cult of personality hype and just couldn't sustain it.

he did. i was thinking about it earlier and the last 3 big democrats to win had major cults of personality. JFK, Clinton, and Obama. Huge cults of personality, with two of the three practically anointed as demi gods by the public ( ... )

Good. If you think he ever for one second had a shot in hell, you’re an idiot.
