The Great British Bake Off celebrated the final episode of Season 10!

Bakers had to make a chocolate cake signature bake, cheese soufflés for the technical, and a picnic illusion, where cakes and biscuits were made to look like other food.

what a bummer for steph to mess up so badly at every stage this episode.

david was one of my faves so i'm quite happy for him, wish he would have nabbed a star baker this season though.

they need to find a better playing field for the next series. no one this season could hold a candle to some of the previous contestants. alice not knowing what a roux was or how to make it... steph putting in cold water in a bain marie..... who are these people?

I think it's down to the selection process. Too many young people on this year's to entice a younger audience since it's on channel 4 now.

My heart really broke for Steph, I was expecting her to win - when she started crying it was pretty devastating. Especially with her Mum talking about how she'd been in a really low place previously. She seemed to be putting her best foot forward at the end though.

I definitely think they were a bit weaker this season on baking skills, but to be fair there have been times in the past where skills fluctuate from season to season.
