Celebrity Endorsements For The 2020 Presidential Election So Far

How important are celebrity endorsements? Probably not that much considering the results of the 2016 election. But it's interesting to see where the stars align for the 2020 candidates. Judge away, ONTD.

she chose the right timing for it too, it's become clearer that EW isn't really a progressive so AOC's choice is clear and safe. if she had done it earlier i think she would've got a lot of hate.

lmao she already gets a lot of hate, that’s not going to be affected by her supporting sanders when most if not all of her policies align with him already

Earlier in the race even on ONTD people were coming for Sanders supporters up to calling them misogynistic bc EW was also considered progressive but was more "electable".

Yup. I’m living for the white feminist tears though.

Those people clearly support Warren/AOC/etc firstly because they're women, the policies are second. I work with a couple of them, they'd vote for a moderate woman over a leftist man bc that's really what they're voting for and I just...cannot get on board with that.

And this is how most of these candidates are getting away with having zero ideas

unfortunately in politics, that's the norm people vote based on who they "like" not based on their policies

It's an extremely shallow way of voting

this is where I'm at. fuck I'd love a female president but only if she's the right one. I'm poor, I'm chronically ill, I've got thousands and thousands in medical debt that I'll never be able to pay off and much of my family and friends fit the same description - there is no reason for me to choose Warren over Bernie. I will vote for her if she gets the nom, but in the primary, it's my choice and I'm taking it.

Agreed. I would love a woman president in my lifetime, but I truly believe a Bernie presidency would help more women than any of the female candidates’s would (sorry Liz!) There’s no point having a woman president if it means marginalised women are suffering because of it.

Is it really just white women? I doubt it
