THANK YOU for the Toy Soldier love! When I first heard the album I was like “hold up ...what is THIS?!!!” In the best way possible. That song is a bop and a half and her delivery is 👌🏾...impeccable.

in the zone is her best because of content and blackout is seen as her best because of context. both are excellent tho. like, blackout is THAT bitch and i wish more people were willing to admit that the album was crafted by britney before everything happened. like, britney had so much to do for what came out like ms. spears is a MUSICIAN honey.

Exactly. I hate that people equate it with the breakdown because most of that damn album was curated and recorded when she was pregnant. It’s not like it was made when she actually broke down.

ITZ wishes it was Blackout. Vlackout is in the Rock and Roll of Fame. The only reason it wasn't a a number 1 album is because Billboard changed the rules and the Eagles somehow were number one that week. (it was last minute iirc)) You Soldier was considered to be the lead single, Hot as Ice and Get Back were considered - but they went with Gimme More (i think because of the "its britney bitch" line" but this era was turmoil sso who knows)

It is arguably her best album (though I will hear arguments for Glory)
