Maybe separated. I haven't seen every episode but wasn't there a storyline about Jim not being supportive of her art?

Not really? I think he was always super supportive.

They did have marriage problems all the last season because he kept making decisions without her though. I think there was a plot point where she was excited to tell him about some of her art and she didn't get to because they started fighting first though.

i mean, he encouraged her to go to art school way back in season 2. she was just so passive about everything, it was infuriating.

There was a deleted scene from one of the eps that season where she found out she won an art contest and she tried to tell people and no one cared and she told Jim and he was super excited and gave her a big hug. And it was right before Karen confronted him about finding out that he used to be obsessed with Pam so I think it makes sense he decided not to go.

Also it gave us that really good scene with Michael and Pam where he buys her picture.

I still think of that scene of Pam & Michael occasionally. One of my favorites of the show.

He was def supportive of her, but he also whined a lot and she basically gave up the art world for him. Then a few years later he acts like a single asshole when he starts working at that sports place.
