Addams Family Values (1993)
** When tv producers were creating the television show The Addams Family in the 60s, they asked comic creator Charles Addams for names for his unnamed characters. The name "Pubert" was originally suggested (and rejected) for Pugsley.
** Pubert was played by twin girls.
** Christina Ricci didn't like kissing David Krumholtz because of his peach fuzz.
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
** Tim Burton has said that the original poem was inspired by witnessing stores take down their Halloween decorations and replace them with Christmas items. (OP: now they're displayed side by side, amirite?) The juxtaposition sparked his imagination.
** Vincent Price was originally cast as Santa Claus. His declining health, however, forced directer Henry Selick to recast.
** In 2013, Catherine O'Hara performed "Sally's Song" for a performance of Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton. She received a standing ovation when she entered as well as when she was finished.
** During the mirror sequence, Dr. Harvey was supposed to turn into Steven Spielberg. The scene was filmed but cut for pacing reasons, much to the relief of Spielberg who didn't think his acting talents were up to par.
** Whipstaff Manor is also the house used in the music video for Backstreet Boys' "Everybody".
** A scene with Zelda Rubinstein (Poltergeist) was filmed but cut.
Garfield in Disguise (1985 tv special)
** The first Garfield tv special based on original content.
** The boat Odie and Garfield use is named "Carolyn" after Jim Davis' first wife.
** While Garfield is flipping TV channels in the opening scene, one of the channels features Orson Pig from U.S. Acres for a brief second.
