Even with three new major releases this weekend, WB's 'Joker' is still expected to stay on top during Columbus Day weekend. But, for now, we can still delve into how the three new movies fair.

‘Gemini Man’ brought in a rather... bleak $1.6M from Thursday night previews, and is expected to bring in around $20 million (on a... $138 million budget). A certified bomb there unless overseas can give it life.

The new animated adaptation of “The Addams Family” brought in $1.25 million on Thursday, and is also expected to make $20 million or less (though can't find a budget on this one yet). Also released was the comedy 'Jexi'. All are expected to bomb and were critically trashed.

In limited release are 'Parasite' (arguably one of the best movies of the year), and 'High Strung Free Dance'.
