Damn Iannucci really loves Hugh Laurie, he's putting him in everything.

I don't really care for the book but I looooove that Iannucci racebent this. I've noticed more British period pieces being willing to race bend this last decade and I am loving it. Wish it had been more of a thing when I was a kid and obsessed with masterpiece theatre and all the BBC Austen adaptations.

Never read this book. It sounds boring.

I like Dev and Armando so I would definitely like to check this out. (God, I wish Armando stayed until the end of Veep.)

Re: Veep - anytime I see his name that’s exactly what I think.

I always think about what the show would have been like if Armando had stayed on, especially during the last season. There’s so much praise for season 7, but I thought it was awful. I wish he stayed until the end of the 5th season at least. They should have just ended it there. I wonder what the cast thinks now that they won no Emmys.

I do like the multiracial look of this casting.
