Last night, Ally Brooke delivered a beautiful tribute to her idol, Selena Quintanilla, on “Dancing With the Stars” while dancing the rumba to “Dreaming of You.”
The theme was Movie Night and the “Lips Don’t Lie” singer and her pro partner, Sasha Farber, took inspiration from the 1997 film starring Jennifer Lopez, Selena. Brooke shared with viewers how she’s looked up to the late Tejano singer her entire life.
Selena tragically passed away in 1995, when Brooke was just 2-years-old.
Ally Brooke went on to get the highest score of the night with 24 out of 30, tying later in the night with Kate Flannery and her pro partner Pasha Pashko.
Could Ally Brooke be a frontrunner and win this entire thing? It’s too soon to say, but it’s clear she made her presence known and someone to look out for.
