As messy as the last season was this is one of my all time favourite shows. Good luck trying to replace the original cast, they were perfection.

This. It already WAS a remake. And they tried to set something in the same universe with Caprica. It's been done and it was beautiful.

Well I meant BSG was, I just phrased it really badly because it's midnight here lol. I really loved Caprica, but it only lasted one season!

Losing Caprica was so sad. It was the first bsg show I watched and then I refused to watch the real bsg until a few weeks ago because I was so disappointed.

I liked it, but be aware that it's tonally very different from Battlestar Galactica. It's a drama show with sci-fi elements. It's kind of slow for the first half of the season, and I was a little annoyed by their unsubtle references to our modern day society. Okay, they've got a Stephen Colbert equivalent, I get it!

Caprica was just ok. I wish it had been given more time to develop, like it would have been amazing in it's second or third season like a lot of sci-fi shows.

They really were, I can't imagine this coming even close.
