Indie Film Release Guide: September 27th [An ONTD Original]

The only major studio film (and wide release) this week comes in the animated form of Abominable, from Dreamworks and Universal. If you’re not here for fluffy white snow monsters, you can check out some of the releases from the past few weeks like Ad Astra or Hustlers, seize what is likely your final chance to watch The Goldfinch in theaters, or check out some of the options below.

The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Six” - Paramount, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal, Columbia and Disney. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD.
