isn't the families of the victims of the Aurora shooting's main complaint is that WB puts money into the NRA? if that's the case they should make that a priority if they're so concerned with better gun control laws.

They did. They asked the studio end contributions to candidates who support the NRA and who vote against gun reform. They didn't ask the studio to pull the movie or for anyone to boycott it, they just requested that Warner Bros to use their platform to lobby for gun reform.
