I think, traditionally, the main for the first movie in a franchise gets peanuts (5mil is a lot compare to others' first) but since Rob has been getting success in diferent roles maybe thats why. Now, Jonah is an Oscar nominated actor(sometimes I even forget about it too!) so makes sense that he would ask for more, but I guess both of them making the same could be a great compromise specially since he could the playing the villain.
