I don't care for Downton at all but I'm so happy for it's success. I'm pretty much team "anything but fucking Disney" at this point.

Also two cute things about it's box office: 1) biggest ever weekend opening for Focus Features!!! 2) apparently it's showings after 8 pm are totally tanking because that's the bedtime for it's core audience. LOL. Go cute little old ladies though!

omg that second thing is kind of wholesome and cute lol

i went at 7:30 on thursday and it was like 35 mostly old ladies and some old men, me, and this guy who had to be in his 20s or early 30s in a trucker hat looking like he should’ve been at rambo last blood instead but it was kinda cute he was there to see it

I went to see Downton Abbey in my tiny hometown and there was 5 o'clock tea served at the theater before and some older ladies were dressed in gowns and little hats it was adorable

I had to double check - Yep, Focus distributed Atomic Blonde and that only opened to 18m$. Good for them! Moving on up!

i've never watched the show but i've promised to take my mum to see this lol.

we arranged a night out in june to go for dinner with my sister and then we'd all go see the new Aladdin (my sister and I were obsessed growing up so she wanted to relive the memories lol). Except she looked up the times wrong and we missed it so my sister went home. my mum was so disappointed that she'd "ruined" the night that I dragged her outraged ass to the supermarket next door and bought wine for our handbags and we went to see Godzilla (she is randomly obsessed with dumb monster movies lol).

Anyway I promised we'd have another night out and this time it would go off without a hitch and this is the movie she's chosen. <3 She's definitely a cute little old lady.

I went to a 8:10pm showing with my mom and there were only four people in the theater.
