i've always wondered about this.

i was blocked by someone i never directly interacted with. i didn't even know they blocked me until they made a post and i went to comment and couldn't.

does that inherently go against the community rules; by blocking someone you reduce their posting access? it's similar to the argument against tr*mp blocking people on twitter, but there hasn't been a consensus on that either...

It is against the rules but I don't think it's written anywhere. You just have to message a mod to get them to unblock you. I've done it a few times, sadly. Lol
