I never watch The Bachelor (in Australia) but I see the ads a lot and it’s always like a dozen blondes and maybe one or two Black, Brown or Asian women. They seem to get rid of those non-white women early on and then it’s just a bunch of chicks who all look the same fighting over some doofus “marketing executive” (euphemism for works in a Telstra shop) or whatever. I’ve seen the ads this week for the final three and I literally cannot tell them apart.

I've never seen a single season of The Bachelor Aus but I might start watching this one since he's an astrophysicist. Not even hopeful about diversity I mean most of our morning shows don't even have any person of colour. Australian TV is not even apologetic about it's obvious lack of diversity...

They made such a big deal of him being an astrophysicist - apparently he works as a bank teller.

I did some investigating (I’ve never seen an episode of this show - what is my life) and supposedly he worked as an “analyst” for NAB for three months before joining the show, according to news.com.au - so it must be true. There’s another story from the day after about him kind of but not really denying it, lol.

It's definitely true lol - it's still up on his Linkedin (which he hasn't privatised for some reason). Like he's not officially employed by NAB, but I think he's been working there as a contracter through another company.
