Haven't watched yet.. BUT.. could work in the show's favor? lmao. there is a LOT of bad acting in '80s slashers, which are sort of part of their appeal. but yeah, I'm sure Ryan didn't cast him for that reason lol
It also kind of only works too if all the actors on the show are bad. If only 1 is terrible and the other aren't - then it's just that more jarring and off-putting
I'm not expecting oscar-worthy material, but I'm hoping Murphy wouldn't have given him a starring role if he didn't think he could handle it (unless there's a twist where he's killed off early on, like what happened to Adam Levine in Asylum).
i mean it's not like that was the reason he was cast. You know he had to show RM the buss before being cast and agree to showing his buss on the show. But yeah his acting is dreadful and he's lowkey ugly under all that facial hair.
