Took a break from Pokemon Go for a while because it seemed too repetitive, started again in July. Unova pokemon now apparently!

Idg how some people get so far, like level 40 and 100 shinies and all the legendaries, do they have jobs?

i joined a local pokemon group in my old neighborhood before, and the majority of the group were 40+ men and women who blew all their money on this game. it was a sight to behold.

I don't use "real money." I use money from Google Opinion rewards which is kind of real money and coins I get from gyms. But I can't justify anything more than that.

i've spent real money on the game, but no more than $5. i also use points from my card to get itunes gift cards.

meanwhile i know a couple that purposely chose australia as their vacation destination so they could catch a few kangaskhans.

Lol there's an event now where you can get Kanto regionals from eggs. I have 3 Kangaskhans so far (I'm in the US).

Although if I already was in a different country, I probably would take advantage of the pokemon situation.

oh, i have all the kanto regionals now thanks to the 7km eggs. but this a year or so before they introduced that (i don't think gifts were even a thing yet when they went).

and yeah i totally take advantage of eggs and hatching when i am elsewhere, but to travel to a specific locations JUST BECAUSE of pokemon go is absurd to me. but hey, their money, their rules...

I get frustrated when I'm stuck on the same task for months tbh. Right now I'm stuck on "make an excellent curveball throw" but I was stuck on the Ditto one for a while. Shit like this is why I took a break lol.

Before you make your throw, touch the poke ball and move it in a circle and it will become a curveball. Keep doing that and then make your throw. All of the balls I throw are curveballs because of this.

Yeah I've made nice and good curveball throws that way but not excellent yet. It's so annoying lol

You've gotta get one of the larger Pokemon, like Wailmer or Tauros, or any of the legendaries. Excellent curveballs are super easy on them.

same, i stopped once the hype died down way back when and then picked it up two months ago and im deep in it lmao. it gets me out and moving so there's worse things.

i did one legendary raid and it wasnt more fun than catching the cute wimpy ones, i dont see what the fuss is about. it is fun to get the shiny ones though, or like...pikachu in the witch's hat.

That just appeared today.

I am level 31, but I started in 2016 and mainly use it to motivate me to walk so I get some exercise. I have taken some mini-breaks but have been trying to do the daily goals at least. The legendaries I have are from getting the reward after collecting 7 stamps.

I started in 2016 too and probably played for like a year and made it to level 28 or so. I'm level 32 now. I have a few legendaries from the tasks, I think the tasks keep things interesting.

I'm talking more about the people in local pokemon go fb groups have like 5 Suicunes and 2 of them are shiny or something. IDGI.

I play daily too, sometimes it's an excuse to leave the house on my days off.
