[spoiler] After all the agony the grandma lives for another 6 years, which is great for real life but I was just going through it the whole movie that it felt like it was for nothing. I'm only half serious, its still a very good movie

[Spoiler (click to open)]ahhh. see I definitely pegged it from the outside as her sharing a moment with her grand daughter in secret revealing that she knows what this is all about and accepting death but telling granddaughter to keep it a secret between the two of them. Just a quiet sweet moment and then she dies maybe the day after awkwafina gets home or something IDK

This movie was so good. I was really impressed by Awkwafina and especially the actor that played her dad.

And her Mum! They were all fantastic. I was a wreck throughout - I'm also very close to my paternal grandmother so the movie hit really close to home. BUT I also knew that it would, so I called her a couple of days before I went to watch the movie just to say hi.

I LOVED this movie! Made me cry so hard in the theater.

Along with the A+ acting, the cinematography was GORGEOUS AF too.
