ONTD Investigates: How many tour dates have your pop faves cancelled?
Have you ever bought tickets to a show and spent months in excitement only to have the date cancelled by the artist? It's happened to the best of us and it made me wonder, which pop girls serve the best attendance record?
I've calculated the "main" pop girl's attendance records based on the number of shows they've actually performed vs the amount of shows that they've cancelled. In order to be considered on the list, the pop star had to have more than 200 tour dates performed. Rescheduled dates do not count as cancellations and residencies were included. We're counting down from worst to best attendance.
15. CHRISTINA AGUILERA
CANCELLED: 46 shows
PERFORMED: 294 shows
Although she's been a pop star for the last 20 years, Christina doesn’t seem to love touring. The pop star has only done 294 shows since the beginning of her career. This isn’t a high amount considering pop stars that have come out 10 years after her are already double her amount of shows. Of the near 300 dates, she’s cancelled a whopping 46 shows.

14. MARIAH CAREY
CANCELLED: 25 shows
PERFORMED: 298 shows
Like Xtina, Mariah Carey has a very low amount of tour dates considering her long career. Since 26 years as a pop star, Mariah has only performed 298 dates and has cancelled 25 dates. This diva doesn't seem to love the touring life.

13. JANET JACKSON
CANCELLED: 53 shows
PERFORMED: 684 shows
Touring icon Ms. Jackson has toured 684 shows! Over the span of her touring career, Janet has cancelled 53 shows. This is one of the highest amount of cancellations on the list but is averaged out by the many years and dates she’s done.

12. ADELE
CANCELLED: 18 shows
PERFORMED: 250 shows
Adele has one of the least amount of tour dates out of the pop girls and her cancelation percentage is one of the worst. Of the 250 shows she’s performed, the singer has cancelled 18 shows. A large portion of those cancelations are due to Adele not knowing how to properly use her vocal cords.

11. LADY GAGA
CANCELLED: 41 shows
PERFORMED: 596 shows
In as little as 11 years, Lady Gaga has toured an impressive 596 dates. It seems as though almost every tour Gaga’s had, she gets sick or physically injured at some point. Because of this, the fibromyalgiac legend has had to cancel 41 shows.

10. BRITNEY SPEARS
CANCELLED: 47 shows
PERFORMED: 757 shows
Like Lady Gaga, a large portion of Britney’s tour cancelations have been due to physical injuries. Because of her long stretch in Vegas, Britney has the highest amount of shows out of any pop star on the list! She’s performed a whopping 757 shows since the beginning of her career, and that’s only including tours and residencies.

9. DEMI LOVATO
CANCELLED: 19 shows
PERFORMED: 316 shows
Although her pop career isn’t as big as some of her peers on this list, Demi Lovato’s done a pretty good amount of touring so far. The pop star has done 316 shows and has cancelled 19 dates so far.

8. ARIANA GRANDE
CANCELLED: 17 shows
PERFORMED: 283 shows
Ariana Grande is considerably still in the earlier phase of her touring career. The pop star has put on 283 shows so far and she has already cancelled 17 shows. She’s gone through some of the toughest times during her tours and that could play a part in why the number of cancelations is already up there.

7. CHER
CANCELLED: 58 shows
PERFORMED: 1,114 shows
Living legend Cher has performed a whopping 1,114 shows including the many nights she's performed in vegas. Of all these shows over the last 4 decades, Cher has only had to cancel 58 shows. It's an impressive number considering how many shows she's performed. We stan a present queen.

6. MADONNA
CANCELLED: 17 shows
PERFORMED: 592 shows
Although she is counted for 17 cancelations on the list, Madonna has already had to cancel a date for a tour that won’t start until September when she embarks on an 80+ date tour for her new album. By 2020, Madonna will have toured 675 shows! It’s impressive that in the span of over 30 years, the pop diva has only cancelled 18 shows.

5. RIHANNA
CANCELLED: 14 shows
PERFORMED: 533 shows
Rihanna has toured many dates, big and small. The pop star-turned Avon Lady has toured a total of 533 shows and has only cancelled 14 shows throughout her 14 years of touring.

4. BEYONCÉ
CANCELLED: 12 shows
PERFORMED: 494 shows
Beyoncé, one of the hardest working musicians in music, has only toured 494 shows throughout her near 20-year sooo career. Of all that touring, Beyoncé has only cancelled 12 shows, making her one of the least likely to cancel a show.

3. MILEY CYRUS
CANCELLED: 3 shows
PERFORMED: 233 shows
Miley has not had a very big touring career. It’s surprising that all her Hannah Montana/Miley tours have only amounted to a total of 233 shows. But in these 12 year span of tours, Miley has only cancelled 3 shows. Her tours have been relatively small, leaving a lower chance for her to have to cancel and re-scheduled dates are not counted. You most likely won’t have to worry Miley will cancel a date you buy tickets for.

PERFORMED: 479 shows
Katy ties with Miley for having cancelled 3 shows throughout her touring career, only Katy’s is a little more impressive because she’s toured 479 shows through it all. Miss Perry is not letting anything stop her coin! If you’re buying, she’s supplying!

PERFORMED: 452 shows
Taylor has been touring the world for 10 years and has already put on 452 shows. Throughout these 10 years, Taylor has only cancelled 1 show! She absolutely will not stand for anything standing in the way of her concert checks. Rain, sleet or snow, Taylor Swift will be in the building. This makes her the most trustworthy show to buy tickets for. You’re almost guaranteed that she will be in attendance. But are we surprised?
