The Most Popular 90’s Sitcom in Each State in the US
According to a recent study by Dish, they calculated which 90’s sitcoms are most popular in each state in the United States. They explain their methodology: “We found the top 15 sitcoms from the 1990s according to Ranker.com, then analyzed Google search volume from 2004 to the present to find out what show each state is searching for.” K.
As you might guess, “Friends” was the big winner overall with 12 states: Arizona, Hawaii, Vermont, Utah, Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Texas, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Nevada.
“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “Saved by the Bell” took 6 states each.
The only show still on the air, “The Simpsons,” took 3 states with: California, Oregon, and Virginia.
