I think they still are just not as much as before. I mean, artists like Billy Eilish and Lil Nas X are very popular and they're attending, but of course the 20-30 year olds in ontd wouldn't tune in for them.

The difference is the audience can get access to those stars via social media. It's not that we are older, its just that the stars are more accessible. Why do you need to watch the VMAs to see crazy shit pop off when a singer can just tweet or Instagram something to the entire world?

They are still relevant enough that they can keep the beyonce lemonde performance off of youtube. Never seen it.  Its silly to put it on a monday when so many kids are going back to school or people are getting ready for labor day or just day to day work.
