MTV has FINALLY uploaded an untagged version of the 2003 VMA opener, which featured Britney, Christina, Madonna and Missy Elliott (you know... THAT one). What's newsworthy is that the version they have uploaded includes the entire Christina kiss portion, which was edited out during the original broadcast for a longer reaction shot of Justin

all eye on her for sure. whenever i see her now i think about that and what she said in for the record, something like she was the cool girl and she was confident but they chipped away at that and took it away from her during 07. it's sad.

true tbh still stanned them both equally during the day! i remember moving back to canada after living in taiwan for two years as a kid, and the #1 song at the time was "Come on Over," and using the /culture-shocked trauma/ of coming back to buy me her album... bless

just admired britney's reactions to the vitriol from everyone back then, she was always so chill about it, but also social media wasn't a thing so maybe there's some deep diving i need to do
