I wonder if she's pissed that her ex is on the cover of Rolling Stone during her album launch, when he doesn't even have any new music out... Honestly, it shocked me that they didn't give her a cover for September... maybe it was because she wouldn't agree to a profile and they didn't want another one of her stupid poems
She's on the Vogue's September cover and gave them an interview. There's no way either magazine would be cool with sharing a cover star next month. I'm sure Rolling Stone would have much rather gotten Taylor if she wasn't doing Vogue.
the interview she gave them may as well have been written by her publicist... I don't think Rolling Stone would bend over backwards to give her such a fluff piece
good point on the sharing covers, though the issues don't really overlap (Vogue is already out and has been for a week or more, Rolling Stone comes out September 3rd). Vogue will be on to October soon enough...
Sure, but she still gave them an interview. I think Rolling Stone would be willing to compromise to have someone as big as Taylor on the cover, times are tough for magazines and it's not like all of their interviews are super hard-hitting.
Either way, Vogue's September issue has much wider reach than Rolling Stone's, so it makes sense that if they were given the choice they'd choose that one.
