they take 5-12%, depending on your plan, plus a service charge of 30 cents per donation over $3 (last i checked)

i think creators who made an account before a certain date still get the "low" 5% rate, but i wouldn't be surprised if they roll that back too. basically they only want people who are already very popular with thousands of patrons, because fuck your rent! i honestly wonder if setting up a po box and asking people to mail in checks would be more profitable than this shit lmao
