I fucking hate him and how much he disrespected the GOAT Bruce Lee.

Everyone even in Asian cinema has said for years that his fighting was unparalleled. I have watched documentaries about the man and he was so damn fast and there is no goddamn way white boy brad goddamn Pitt could hold his jock strap let alone beat him.

But QT loves his white boy power fantasies.

Apparently Brad didn't like the idea of him beating Bruce either and he asked for them to change the fight to be more of a draw.

Okay so QT was just an asshole and actively disrespected Asian cinema/icons as per usual.

In real life, the stunt man that fought Bruce Lee (Gene LeBell) did not fight Bruce, he just carried him around the set as a joke and they became BFFs.

Another thing, it really irritated me how Quentin [Spoiler (click to open)]made Pitt's character a sympathetic wife murderer who was justified in killing his wife because she was nagging him.

the moments that got the biggest laughs at my screening before the movie’s ending included:

-the bruce lee scene
-a woman getting called a bitch
-mexican jokes
-brad’s wife scene

so needless to say i was just as endeared to the men in my audience as i was to tarantino by the end of it lol

Yeah I think some of the eggheads I was with did laugh at the beginning of the Bruce Lee part too (which was super cringe). I loved seeing Zoe Bell but it sucks that she basically had a glorified cameo in this and it was for that scene, of all the scenes in the movie :/, I don't think the audience I was with was as into this movie though. I had seen Hobbs and Shaw the week before and the audience had a lot more energy and seemed to enjoy it more. We were all BORED out of our minds only until the ending, lmfao.

The parts that people laughed at the most were:
[Spoiler (click to open)]- Leo crying about how the little girl told him he was a good actor and when she told him off about him calling her a Pumpkin Puss... )

Ew that's what happens? What a stupid detail to include. Obviously BL would have fucking destroyed him lol.
