Damn. I send postcards and get nothing in response. I think I need a pen pal since my long distance friends don't do anything to keep in touch.

I finally had a "friend" reach out to me (after like 4 years of nothing in response to my attempts at keeping in contact). I only found out about things like her dad dying and her getting married because of a friend who follows her on facebook (I sent her my condolences by email because it was the only way I knew to get in contact with her and I know what her dad meant to her). I didn't bother replying.

As soon as I deleted my facebook pretty much only one person tried to keep in contact. None of them even made posts which was why I left.

Isn't that sad? I've pondered getting rid of all of mine as well. I feel the time I save could be so much better invested in learning about new things. But there are a few people I only keep in touch with through there.

Which then makes me contemplate if they are even worth having in my life. :/

I also know of ppl who do have all of that and still barely receive anything. It's shite both ways.
