Last Thursday, Jonathan Van Ness's one-year-old cat Bug the 2nd died by falling from an open window while Van Ness was asleep. He has now adopted two new kittens. He has four cats total.

oh gosh, that's terrible. RIP to that sweetheart. I had a scary situation once a few years back. my cat, who is disabled, disappeared from our apartment. We were on the 4th floor. he must have fallen out of my roommate's window because that was literally the only way he could have gotten out. we found him in my neighbors yard. i have no idea how he survived that fall or what happened but it could've been really bad. my heart goes out to Jonathan. it's really sweet of him to adopt 2 kittens. <3

Ugh, my heart hurts. My cat used to constantly try to kill herself in window ledges when we lived on the 5th floor. She'd basically throw herself against screens and expect them to hold her weight. Or she'd scratch a hole in them. So glad we don't have that problem at our new place.

I adopted a cat at KC Pet Project. He passed away a year go and I miss him so much. He had the best judgey face.

I lowkey love it. My best friend’s parents are on Smokey number 3.
I also like the idea of having stuff made with their names and getting multi dogs out of it. I currently have my eye on a dog treat canister on Etsy.

Jfc that’s horrific about his first cat, and at 13yo...so sad. I’m currently watching Stella’s Last Weekend on Hulu which has an old dog passing away and her fam throwing a party for her before they put her down and I just started it and I’m sure I’ll be a blubbering mess by then. My pup is laying right next to me, he’s only 7 years old but I think about his mortality all the time. I’m actually hyper-protective of him tbh lol watch out if I have real kids, shit.
