Scary Stories was one of the worst movie choices I've made in my life. It has more teens talking, than it has jumps or scares and a wasted ending. So disappointing as a fan of the books, when I was a kid.

Isn't it supposed to basically be a kids' movie? Just with traumatic nightmare imagery that will hook them on horror for life?

Saw it in a huge theater and everyone was an adult. I don't know any kid that could sit through it though, boring as it was.
