I recently bought tickets to The Nightingale, but after I read the reviews I had to back out.

Can't wait to see Scary Stories!

Does anyone else irrationally hate Martin Freeman?

D: in the woods in Sweden.

I'm glad. I've heard people defend him, and I'm just like, "he seems very unpleasant?"

haha RUN!! Stay away from burning bears!

I mean, of course there are still maniacal Sherlock stans out there, but I think the majority of people here have def turned on him for his many dumb comments.

I'm hoping to see The Kitchen this weekend for my ginger bae. The Peanut Butter Falcon looks interesting too, so I'll probably catch that eventually also

See After the Wedding tomorrow (despite the reviews), hopefully seeing The Kitchen (despite the reviews) and The Peanut Butter Falcon (because of the reviews!) later in the weekend. I'm still waffling about Scary Stories because I am a giant coward, and I'm hoping to see Vision Stories because that dude was really interesting on Fresh Air recently. (I sort of hate paying full price for a < 80min movie, though. I'm just cheap that way.)

also, speaking of Hobbs and Shaw:

I’d watch it. #HobbsandShaw #HobbesandShaw pic.twitter.com/LcDEFcWd7b

There's a few I hope will be shown in my country.

Tuesday, I went to see Hobbs & Shaw Fast and Furious 69 in 4DX. The 4DX part was a lot of fun. The action scenes were exaggerated as expected. Everything else was shit as expected. :D

I saw The Farewell on Monday night, and I loved it. Family dramas are inherently my jam, and this one was well-paced, filled with interesting characters and cultural specifics. The casting for Nai Nai was impeccable; Shuzhen Zhou is literally the perfect grandmother. I cried SO much, but I am a big-time movie crier so that was to be expected.

Finished the BBC's War and Peace last night. Overall, it was okay, but the story felt so fucking rushed. Jessie Buckley was probably the highlight for me.

Still very impatiently waiting for the Little Women trailer.

I was planning to see The Kitchen this weekend, but the reviews are awful. :/ Gonna look and see what else is at AMC that I haven't already seen.

Wow, I was not expecting that 21% RT score for The Kitchen, lmao. Maybe I'll try to see The Peant Butter Falcon sooner than later...
