Some friends went to New Orleans a few months ago and said that he's hated by the locals for the tomb, among other things.

It's true! I was there a few months ago. He bought Delphine LaLaurie's house...the one used to torture and murder slaves. Locals pretty much hate him for it (and rightfully so).
